The primary purpose of the library is to provide support to students and faculty members.
Sports and games have played a vital role in Tamilnadu College of Engineering. Sports activities help the students to keep them physically, mentally, emotionally and intellectually fit. Participation in games and sports invariably ensures good health, fitness and, generally, freedom from ailments of various types. Physical fitness is essential for proficiency in studies and for winning distinctions in examinations. Ailing bodies do not make for sharp brains. Exercise in some form or another is necessary, and sports provide an easy method to ensure such fitness. Our college provides a good platform for the students to get acquainted with both indoor and outdoor games.

The campus is completely wifi enabled making digital access possible anytime anywhere.
Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls separately with all basic amenities. The rooms are well furnished with cot, table, chair, fan and storage racks. The gent’s hostel has two separate blocks for first year and senior students with the capacity to accommodate 690 students. The ladies hostel has total of 50 rooms and accommodates 650 students. Single, double and multi member rooms are available in the hostel with Wi-Fi internet connectivity. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian foods on dividing basis are made available in the mess.
Facilities like Internet browsing, Library and Reading room, Medical Facilities, Laundry, Fitness center etc. are available for the convenience of the students staying in the hostel. The hostel is managed by warden, deputy warden and residential tutors.

The fully air-conditioned auditorium with a capacity of 1200 seating and an excellent stage is available and used to conduct our engineering college cultural festivals and functions.
Smart Classroom is the ultimate self-service presenter-friendly environment conducive to the teaching / learning process. Resources that faculty require are permanently placed in simple, easy-to-use configurations. Collaborative learning environment, simple, friendly and non-intimidating classroom technology inspires the presenters who rely on improvisation, spontaneity and audience participation.
Medical facility is available in college campus for all staffs and students. A Dispensary with bed facility is available. Dr.Balaji MD., and a staff nurse is available to provide medical attention to everyone in campus. An ambulance is readily available 24/7 on the campus to meet any medical emergency.
There are four conference halls with ample seating capacity to conduct seminars, symposiums, conferences, meetings, etc. With full fledged computing facilities.
ATM facility of Syndicate Bank functions on 24 hours serves students, faculty, staff and the administrative office besides serving the public.
Our college has a spacious and clean canteen with a seating capacity of 100 members at a time. It functions from 8.30 am to 7.00 pm. Stationeries, refreshments and gift items are also available. The healthy and nutritious food is available at subsidized rates.

Reverse Osmosis plants were established during the inception of the buildings. There are 4 RO systems in the campus. The capacity of the plants in A-block & Gents hostel is 100 L / hr and in Main building & Ladies hostel, the capacity is 750 L / hr & 250 L / hr respectively. Purified water is supplied round the clock.
Four solar water heaters each with a 500 L capacity is installed in ladies hostel. Five Solar lights are installed at different places in the campus.
In every wing of the building, fire extinguishers with run out hose and buckets are available to handle hazardous situations. Any untoward event could be monitored with CCTV surveillance system which is installed on every floor, canteen, entrance, hostels and other common gathering places.
Lift and Ramp facility are available in the main building for differently abled students.
Two generators are available with a capacity of 350 kVA and 82.5 kVA.
